The Post-App offers a range of helpful features and practical information regarding Swiss Post’s services.

• Login: Access online services in the app using the Swiss Post customer login. The login remains valid for 1 year for protected devices (PIN, fingerprint, Face ID) and 60 days for unprotected devices.

• Push function: Stay up to date with the latest information about Swiss Post and receive personal updates about upcoming consignments from "My consignments".

• CODESCANNER: Scan barcodes and QR codes on consignment documents or enter consignment numbers manually. Some stamps are also scannable, providing access to additional information.

• LOCATION SEARCH: The app detects your location (via active GPS) and provides information about the nearest branch, Postomats, PickPost points, and more. The location search is available even when GPS is deactivated. You can assign favorites and view their current opening hours and collection times.

• TRACK & TRACE: Scan barcodes on letter mail, international consignments, and parcels, as well as QR codes on mailing receipts. The consignment number is automatically entered in the track & trace overview. You can add your own text to listed consignment numbers to improve organization, and even forward the consignment number.

• DIGITALSTAMP: Easily frank letters and parcels with the Post-App. You can conveniently frank your consignments at home or on the go.

• MYPOST 24: Use the Post-App to operate the new My Post 24 terminals. To access all the terminal functions, you need the Post-App and your smartphone, and must be fully registered with Swiss Post.

• pick@home: Arrange for parcel collection from your home or another address. Start the order process in the app by scanning the pick@home consignment code for your goods returns.

• PRICES: Access prices for commonly used products immediately. For specific consignments, use the mail calculator to calculate shipping costs within Switzerland and abroad.

• MY CONSIGNMENTS: Save your login in the app and activate the "My consignments" service for an up-to-date overview of all received consignments. Enable Push notifications to receive proactive updates on consignment progress.

• WEBSTAMP VIDEO: If you receive a letter with a video symbol on the stamp, simply scan the code using the app's scanner and watch the video.

• RETAIN MAIL: Have your mail retained until your return.

• COLLECTION NOTE: If you have a collection note, scan the code field using the app's scan function to select additional delivery options.

Information on authorizations required by the Swiss Post App:

1. DEVICES AND APP HISTORY: Required to ensure older versions of Android are supported for legacy purposes.

2. IDENTITY: Needed for login.

3. PUSH: Receive general and/or personal push notifications.

4. CONTACTS / CALENDAR: Required to import contact information captured by the scanner into contacts.

5. LOCATION: Specifies the locations of the nearest Swiss Post locations.

6. TELEPHONE: Enables making phone calls from the app, such as contacting the Contact Center.

7. PHOTOS/MEDIA/FILES: Needed for the code scanner.

8. CAMERA/MICROPHONE: Needed for the code scanner.
